I've been involved in photography since I could hold a camera. I was my course photographer, covering all the events during university and then spent several years shooting wildlife and landscapes. In 2010 I found myself shooting weddings and have loved every moment of it since. I love the joy, romance and excitement of sharing the couple's big day. Even now after several years shooting weddings I still get a thrill when the couple get to see their wedding pictures and relive their day.

I've had the good fortune to shoot with some of Scotland's best wedding dress and fashion designers as well as in some spectacular locations. And while I have an eye for editorial and artistic images I'm always aware that the important photos are the ones that mean the most, so I'll mix those candid moments in to create the full story of your day.

I also get to shoot other amazing family events, whether it be a family get together for a new addition, or a significant birthday for an older relative. 

All this experience also means that in my other guise as Bigeventphotography.co.uk I can cater to a wide range of other events, from Proms to sports.
